Lori and Ray adopted littermate puppies from Gillian Impey of Quillquest Flat-Coats September, 2001. Little did they know they'd meet at a Pre-Westminster Party the following February. Throughout 2002 they competed in the show ring. In October they discovered they had become more than competitors. They were engaged January 17, 2003 and married at the Flat-Coated Retriever Specialty on May 16, 2003 with all six of their dogs and many of their dog show friends in attendance.
